YumeConUSA COVID-19 Health and Safety Policy

THE HEALTH AND SAFETY OF OUR ATTENDEES IS INCREDIBLY IMPORTANT TO US. TO PROTECT OUR ATTENDEES AND STAFF, WE ARE REQUIRING THE FOLLOWING:

Note: These requirements were originally written for our 2022 event but remain unchanged for our 2024 event.

  • All attendees over the age of 6 months are required to be fully vaccinated at the time of the event. This is 2 weeks after the final dose for 2- dose vaccines (Pfizer, Moderna, etc.) or 2 weeks after the dose for single-dose vaccinations (Johnson & Johnson, etc.) Booster Shots are highly recommended, but not required.
  • All attendees are required to wear a mask or face covering fitted to their face in any indoor space, except for designated eating areas. Masks must cover the nose and mouth. Unacceptable masks include but are not limited to: neck gaiters, mesh materials, masks with an exhalation valve, face shields, and bandannas.
  • You may wear a noncompliant face covering (helmets, fursuit heads, etc.) however, you must wear a compliant mask underneath. Staff may ask you to remove your face covering to check for your mask.
  • In order to pick up your badge and enter the event center, you must bring your vaccination card or a photo of your vaccination card, along with a government-issued photo ID that matches the name on your vaccination card. Minors (under 18 years of age) may bring a school ID with a photo rather than a government-issued ID. Children under 14 may bring their vaccination card with no ID as long as a parent or guardian can verbally verify their identity.
  • Due to the need for vaccination verification, please have your entire party present when picking up your badges.

VIOLATIONS OF YUMECONUSA’S HEALTH AND SAFETY POLICY CAN RESULT IN ACTIONS SUCH AS, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, VERBAL WARNINGS OR REMOVAL FROM PREMISES WITHOUT A REFUND.
